Mount Rainier is a monstrous stratovolcano spotted 54 miles (87 km) southeast of Seattle in the state of Washington, United States. It is the most geographically conspicuous mountain in the adjoining United States and the Cascade Volcanic Arc, with a summit height of 14,411 ft (4,392 m). Mt. Rainier is thought of a standout amongst the most unsafe volcanoes on the planet, and it is on the Decade Volcano record. In view of its imposing measure of cold ice, Mt. Rainier could possibly generate enormous lahars that might undermine the entire Puyallup River valley.
