Aurora Borealis, Yukon Territory - Canada

Come experience the wonders of the aurora borealis or the northern lights in the Canadian wilderness. The northern lights, as the aurora borealis is also known, are a luminous display, alive with shimmering colors that dance across the dark sky. Viewing the aurora borealis leaves you with a very spiritual feeling and a sense of amazement. While the northern lights can be seen year round in Canada, they are best viewed in fall and winter when the nights are longer. The aurora borealis appear frequently at the more northern latitudes of Canada, however they regularly appear north of the ~53rd parallel as well. Escorted tours to view the aurora borealis are available from several northern communities, such as Whitehorse, Yellowknife, and Flin Flon. Aurora borealis viewing is also offered as a sideline to some of our wilderness lodge trips, dogsled adventures and Inuit Cultural experiences. The northern lights in the wilderness of Canada are simply unforgettable... Please call our office for current information or view the aurora borealis tours below.
